Self-care means taking good care of your whole self — your body, your heart, and your mind. Through gentle rhymes and warm illustrations, the Penguin Family shows children that small habits add up to a big, healthy life.
Massage, deep breathing, stretching, good sleep, healthy food, kind touch — all the everyday rituals that help a child feel safe, strong, and loved.

Designer
Mariia has collaborated with Sean Peng for years — turning the Cloud 9 vision into tangible design across print, digital products, and beyond. Her work lives at the intersection of craft and clarity, where every visual choice serves the story being told.
This book was not planned. It was meant to be.
During a pilgrimage walk through Spain — while celebrating his fiftieth birthday and reflecting on the long river of life — Sean Peng met a young and talented artist named Luanda Pinto Guasch. She carried an open heart, a joyful spirit, a deep love for children, and the rare gift of turning feelings into art.
Luanda had completed a master’s degree in art, published several children’s books, and studied Art Therapy for children. When Sean shared his idea for a Penguin Family who teaches self-care, she said their meeting felt like sincronicidad.
"A meaningful encounter that feels guided rather than accidental."
In that moment a simple promise was made: to create this book together — combining her art and his vision. That is how The Dreams of the Penguins came to life, gently written into destiny and arriving at the perfect time.
Meet Baby Pax
Meet Baby Pax
At the heart of this story is Baby Pax — curious, tender, and full of life. With the Penguin Family he discovers self-care, massage, healthy routines, deep breathing, and the gentle truth that small things add up to a big, joyful life.

Three small habits, one big dream
The Penguin Family practices three parts of self-care each day. And you can, too.
Foot
Your feet support you all day. Easy steps, warm soaks, slow stretches, and gentle foot massage — small rituals to support them in return.
Body
Your body works hard for you, day and night. Eat well, stay active, sleep deeply, breathe slowly — and let caring touch keep your muscles happy.
Soul
Your soul holds your dreams and feelings. Time with family, quiet moments, creativity, and self-kindness keep your inside as strong as your outside.
With Love · Cloud 9
Dear families,
This book was created with love by our team at Cloud 9. Every day we meet children, teens, and adults who carry so much inside — hopes, worries, wishes, and dreams.
We created this story to help families slow down, reconnect, and build small habits that strengthen Foot, Body, and Soul.
Sincronicidad doesn't only happen in faraway places. It happens every day — from China to Korea, Philippines, Japan, Spain, Ukraine and across America.
Everyone who has stayed with Cloud 9 for many years, and everyone who has worked with us even for a brief moment, has crossed paths for a reason. None of those encounters are accidental. Their care, skills, and kindness have reached homes across America and left a quiet, lasting mark.
We hope the Penguin Family walks with your family for years to come.
